The presentation phase is as short as possible.
The inlingua trainer introduces students to the new linguistic element, highlighting its meaning and giving examples for its use. This approach helps learners effectively learn the right pronunciation with the right accent.
The exercise phase implies that participants repeat and reuse the French language element that was introduced during the presentation phase. The goal is for participants to be able to formulate correct sentences within a game. All errors are corrected by the inlingua trainer.
As soon as the participants master the element or structure of the French language, it is time to move on to the application phase. Activities give participants greater control over what they say and how to say it. This phase allows for a more creative use of the language: combining new elements with known elements, talking about oneself, doing role plays, expressing points of view.
